"Grant was both builder and project manager for our house at Lake Tekapo. Living in Auckland, we could only visit the building site occasionally and were therefore extremely reliant on Grant's professionalism. Grant's communication with us was excellent. He kept us completely informed of progress with weekly reports and photos. He was always thinking practically of the end result and suggested a number of small improvements that were not obvious from the plans and specifications.
To meet our completion deadline (to celebrate an important family occasion), Grant worked through the winter often under snow and freezing conditions which would have been very unpleasant until the building was closed in. | "Grant came recommended to us and after discussion, we commissioned him to complete some quite extensive renovation work on our 90's house to update it to a modern home. Grant was always cheerful, nothing was too much bother, when we wanted to change the plans part way through the project he wasn't fazed at all, he just dealt with it for us. With a major project like ours, when you are still living in the house, you have to know that your builder and his choice of trade to work with are sympathetic to that, and it was never a problem for us living on site, in fact I quite missed him when he was finished! The workmanship was outstanding, a year later we have absolutely no regrets or have had any problems crop up, Grant really is very good at what he does.
